Somewhere along the way, “healthy” became expensive and “affordable” became compromised. We didn’t accept that. SpreadSense was built on a simple belief — that a family in a metro apartment and a family in a small town should be able to reach for the same jar, at the same quality, at a price that makes sense.
We keep our labels short, our sourcing clean, and our pricing honest. That’s the whole idea.

Chocolate spread is one of the most-loved things in an Indian kitchen and one of the least-examined. Turn most jars around and palm oil is near the top of the list.
Spreadella is our answer. We build the richness from nuts and natural cocoa instead — hazelnuts, almonds and peanuts, natural cocoa powder and cocoa butter for depth, sunflower oil in place of palm. The result is a spread with a genuinely creamy melt without the shortcut ingredient the category leans on.
It is a premium spread by recipe. It is an everyday spread by price. That’s the point.

Long before “clean label” was a marketing term, Indian homes were already doing it — dates, nuts and ghee, pressed together and kept in a steel dabba for whoever walked in hungry.
Date Delite is that idea, made properly and made available. We use whole dates for natural sweetness, almonds, cashews and pistachios for texture and protein, and a touch of ghee and honey to bring it together. No refined sugar. No syrups. No preservative-heavy shortcuts.
What you get is a bite that’s rich enough to feel like a treat and honest enough to hand to a child, a parent or a grandparent without a second thought.

Straight answers about Spreadella, Date Delite, ingredients and storage.
No. Spreadella is made with sunflower oil instead of palm oil.
Spreadella contains 0g added sugar. Date Delite carries zero added sugars — its sweetness comes naturally from dates, with only a trace (2.91g per 100g as sucrose) from the honey used.
That’s completely normal in spreads without stabilising palm oil. It doesn’t affect quality or taste. Stir it back in and enjoy.
Yes. Both products carry the green vegetarian mark. Note that Spreadella contains skimmed milk powder and Date Delite contains ghee and honey, so neither is vegan.
Both contain tree nuts. Spreadella contains hazelnuts, almonds and peanuts, and is manufactured in a facility that processes other nuts; Date Delite is packed in an integrated nuts and dried fruits unit and may contain occasional traces of other nuts or dried fruits.

How SpreadSense orders are confirmed, packed and delivered.

SpreadSense currently takes product requests through the “Shop Now” / “Request to Buy” enquiry on this website. This policy explains what happens after you send an enquiry, and how we ship once an order is confirmed.
Use the enquiry form to tell us which product you would like — Spreadella, Date Delite, or both — along with your name, mobile or WhatsApp number, and email. We will get back to you to confirm availability, price, shipping charges and delivery address before the order is treated as confirmed.
An enquiry is not an automatic checkout. No payment is collected on this website. Payment instructions are shared when we confirm your order.
We ship across India, subject to courier coverage for your pin code. If a location cannot be served, we will tell you when we reply to your enquiry.
These timelines are estimates. Courier delays, weather, festivals or circumstances beyond our control can extend delivery. We will share tracking details when they are available.
Shipping charges depend on destination, weight and courier. They are confirmed with you before you pay. Any free-shipping offer, if announced, will be stated clearly at the time.
Jars and dabbas are packed to travel. Please inspect the parcel on arrival. If it looks badly damaged, note it with the courier and write to us with photographs within 48 hours of delivery.
If you receive the wrong product, a missing item, or goods damaged in transit, email contact@spreadsense.in or call +91 77180 74399 with your order details and photos. We will arrange a replacement or another fair remedy after we review the case. We cannot accept returns of opened food products except where the product is defective, damaged, or not what was confirmed.
Please keep your phone reachable and share a complete address with pin code. If a parcel is returned because the address was incomplete, the recipient was unavailable, or the shipment was refused, extra shipping may apply to resend it.
